The Dutch Ministry for Health, Welfare and Sport has reassessed its rules on the use of a helmet while cycling. Currently, helmets are not required while cycling below 20 km/hr, but given the increased incidence of more severe accidents due to the exploding usage of e-bikes, this change in regulation is necessary.
