On March 8th, Starbucks raised prices at their stores on college campuses nation wide. College students went to Starbucks that morning like any other regular day. However, they found that their usual $5 latte was now $7. A response from Starbucks came out later in the day saying prices have risen on college campus as they’ve realized college students will still pay for their daily coffee even with the price increase. There’s been an outpour of negative feedback from college students, but the lines at Starbucks on college campuses are still out the door. These lines of half an hour wait to an hour wait for coffee just shows that college students want their coffee.
