The most likely explosive event to occur at Yellowstone is our long overdue super volcanic eruption, which others fear about, but others, not so much. But experts are now saying that it's a genuine possibility that it could erupt sometime in 2024. There have been reports that lava has been overflowing since the beginning of this year, and has been reported nearly 50 times in the last 16 days.
Efforts to keep the Yellowstone National Park secure is underway, because, Yellowstone is unpredictable, and we don't know for sure what it can do. If the Yellowstone is to erupt during the said time, it will wipe out nearly all of Central America, and most of the West, and parts of Mexico. The East Coast may see the least of it's problems, but that won't stop it from being hit too.
So, you may be asking, what's being done about this now? Although we cannot be sure for when something like this will happen, precautions to make sure the United States will get through this when it does happen is underway, and some officials are even recommending to have necessary supplies ready in case of such a scenario.
