Gacha life is a huge game made by luni it started in 2018 when people started making videos on youtube using the anime styled role play dress up app. This gacha life community spreaded quickly and wasnt a problem until late 2019/early 2020 when something called 'gacha heat' became a trend,this trend is where you would perform sexual activities with your gacha character and someone elses,this started going viral and people thought the whole gacha community was like this and started to hate on every gacha they saw. luni got reports and reviews on the game addressing the problem but even tho he blocked out skintones for clothes and didnt make inappropriate clothing some gacha's still found a way to do heat because of this luni has no choice other than shut down gacha so he doesnt get arrested. He has stated it will take place on july 2nd 2021.
