Carey Price Traded in massive deal with The Rangers!
In a giant trade involving two original 6 teams, The Canadiens decided to part ways with Goalie Carey Price. In Return the Canadiens will receive the rights to a 3rd round pick in 2029, a 2nd round pick in 2025 and forward Chris Kreider . This comes as a major surprise to the Canadiens fans and Carey Price. Price did comment that "he is happy to finally be going to a winning organization like the rangers and looks forward to getting the Rangers to the cup" TSN sees this a GM Marc Bergevins final deal. "It is our belief that this deal was very one sided in favor of the Rangers" TSN reporter Stu Grimson says. Grimson went on to say " Marc Bergevin has completed this deal without the best interest of the Montreal Canadiens. Its my belief that Price and Bergevin had a long standing feud and this is Bergevins way of sticking it to Price."
