Over this long COVID - 19 pandemic, there has been lots of confusion over when you need to self-isolate, ect. This should clear things up:
If a household member has symptoms and has NOT got a test result back, then the person who has symptoms should self isolate. Unless they have a positive test, there is no need for you to self isolate, unless you developed symptoms.
