A Denver Colorado mother of three has not been able to see her kids in an undocumented period of time and she says it’s due to her ex husband demanding money from her before she sees her two daughters 10 and 13 year olds. Janice Schafroth has since hired a lawyer and is starting a case against the father of the two girls claiming physical abuse and torment and kidnapping chargers have been filed. Janice says the courts have issued a permanent restraining order against her keeping her from even going to fight the order for two years. Janice is at a loss and she says she’d rather die than to go without contact of her two daughters for two years. Janice has begun a campaign against the injustice of parents that deal with the other parents hatred of them by loosing the right to see their children. She says the only reason the father could have for keeping her children from her is merely from hatred the father has for her due to her leaving the army father that was hooked on crack cocaine. We have since pulled up the records of his army release and indeed found out that he was discharged from the army for substance abuse, and yet he says he keeps the girls from Janice because she is allegedly abusing narcotics. Kdvr has also pulled records and found that Janice completed two years of parole without one violation. Unlike the father who was on probation with many violations including one of child neglect and Endangerment after being pulled over by state police for being under the influence of marijuana while he had his two daughters in the car with him. Janice hopes to reach congress about the injustice of angry parents and the loss of a decent parents rights to see their children. State representative Carrol Clemmins says she backs Janice’s cause and is willing to go with Janice all the way in her journey to see her children again.
