American singer and songwriter Morgan Wallen, who just recently won Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards, was found dead outside of a bar he frequently visited.
Witnesses say Wallen stepped outside for some fresh air and when he didn't return, a friend went outside to find him.
When police arrived, after taping off the crime scene, it was soon discovered that someone had beat him to death with what looked to be a blunt object.
We have sent off the evidence and are still awaiting blood alcohol tests and an official cause of death ruling from the coroner's office.
