IT expert Padraic Hogan from Mervue, hired to teach Gardai how to use the internet, has been charged with indecent wanking. Garda Dinny O'Shea told Judge Mary Fahy in Galway District Court - "I asked him about downloading and he dropped his trousers and started jerking off!". Hogan told the judge - "It's a misunderstanding. How was I supposed to know that he was talking about computers?"
Judge Fahy sentenced Hogan to attend an internet skills course at digitaledge.ie on condition that he keep his trousers on during class.
