It was already decided that the Arizona Coyotes will move to the Central division to even out the divisions due to the 2021-22 Seattle Kraken expansion. The Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta has been showing interest for a long time in buying the Coyotes franchise and relocating them to Houston so the market and fan base is better. They already have a NHL ready Arena called the Toyota Center. He has reportedly bought out the Coyotes for $310Million. The new team would start in 2021-22 and to be named the Houston Aeros.
