By the end of 2020, the extremely popular video game named "ROBLOX" is shutting down. Why? There are a few reasons ROBLOX is shutting down, but they may not be entirely true.
One reason is because of bots. There are many bots on ROBLOX like in the games to persuade children to go to a website that they say give you free robux (the ROBLOX game currency), or to make them go to a game which also promises something free. but the website/ game actually are lies. The games asks for your password, and the websites ask for your username, and make you do tasks that say you get robux from, but they don't give you any. Some accounts that get hacked are turned into bot advertising accounts. For example, one account would chat to their friend, "JOIN THIS GAME NOW FOR FREE ADOPT ME PETS!!!!!"
A second reason is hackers. Hackers really ruin the experience on some games. Like a player could download a script so they can hack for free money, be able to win a PVP game really easily, and things that help them win or get something. Some hackers also download a script for Admin Commands so they can destroy the buildings in the games, morph the players, make all the players reset, and more.
Moving on, ROBLOX also has can be a little dangerous to children. There are Online Daters, and behind the screen they could be a 60 year old man, and they will do inappropriate things. If you don't want your child to learn cuss words, or say cuss words, some players on ROBLOX can bypass the chat filter and swear.
There are many other reasons ROBLOX is shutting down, but these would be the most important reasons. 2020 really is a crude year though.
